Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a retail management role, demonstrating strong leadership and communication skills. Experience within the fashion, import, jewelry, or returns industries is preferred, and familiarity with Walmart’s operational standards is beneficial.
The Area Manager will be responsible for communicating with individuals and groups, implementing the business plan for their area of responsibility by managing staffing and scheduling, monitoring and managing productivity through business reports, maintaining quality and safety standards by ensuring associate training and compliance, supervising and developing associates and leaders, embodying Walmart’s values, acting as a servant leader, embracing change, delivering for the customer, and focusing on associates and fostering a culture of belonging.
