  • Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder identification, communication, engagement techniques, management tools/methods; ability to own project delivery/tasks, support process updates/changes, solve simple business issues, demonstrate functional knowledge of business unit/organization
  • Employee Health and Safety: Knowledge of OSHA guidelines, compliance, safety/food safety auditing, regulatory inspections, emergency evacuation plans; ability to participate in inspections, ensure first aid equipment/supplies readiness, maintain records, monitor hazards, use evaluation tools (e.g., walkthroughs), apply continuous improvement, participate in root cause analysis, report violations/accidents, implement audit requirements, create action plans, validate claims with case managers
  • Asset Protection & Security: Knowledge of asset protection policies/practices/guidelines, environmental health/safety laws/regulations; ability to work with theft prevention tools, recognize/investigate security breaches/thefts/vandalism and report findings, assist in access control implementation

Responsibilities

  • Articulate levers that influence data, ensure data quality, organize processes for analysis, develop/implement technology changes across processes
  • Operate tools/equipment for evaluating air/water/waste pollution, support regulatory visits, prepare audit reports, evaluate pollution control/management, assist in integrating environmental considerations into process design, interpret/evaluate compliance/risk reports, assist in developing policies/practices/procedures, implement environmental policies/practices and ensure compliance
  • Explain operational functions/key roles, clarify department roles/relevance to strategy, describe interdependence of functions, identify primary operational functions, locate/read SOP/OBW info, list common tasks/activities
  • Own delivery of assigned project activities/tasks, support process updates/changes, solve simple business issues
  • Participate in OSHA/regulatory inspections and internal safety/health inspections, ensure first aid equipment operational and supplies stocked, maintain health/safety records per OSHA, monitor facilities for hazards, use quality evaluation tools (e.g., walkthroughs/inspections), apply continuous improvement and evaluate impacts, participate in root cause identification for accidents, report safety violations/accidents, implement internal/external audit requirements, create action plans for audit findings, validate claim records and work with workers' comp case managers
  • Work with theft prevention tools, recognize/investigate security breaches/thefts/vandalism and report to management, assist in implementation of access controls
