Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They must demonstrate mastery of design tools, particularly those used for UI/UX design, and a strong understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1 and Section 508.
The UI/UX Design Lead will be responsible for leading client workshops to understand business objectives and user needs, translating these requirements into actionable design strategies, and producing clean, client-ready design documentation. They will drive the full design lifecycle, including research, user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes, while upholding accessibility standards and owning the evolution of REEA’s design system. Furthermore, the Lead will conduct design QA, support front-end engineers, partner with U.S. product leads and global teams, provide mentorship, manage design timelines, and integrate analytics and stakeholder feedback to refine designs within Agile and iterative processes.
