Responsibilities

  • Act as patient concierge, building trust through a caring and service-oriented attitude
  • Make welcome calls to new patients, answer initial questions, and set expectations for their first visit
  • Proactively receive patients on their first visit, assist with new patient paperwork and welcome packets, and ensure smooth patient flow
  • Present and explain all treatment plans, including out-of-pocket costs, to patients
  • Assist patients with payment plans, including Care Credit options, and ensure effective communication regarding financial options
  • Check patients in and out, schedule and confirm appointments, and handle patient paperwork (charts, referrals, appointment cards, etc.)
  • Maintain control of all patient payments and insurance statements, reinforce office financial policy, and ensure payments are current
  • Prepare financial treatment plans and present them to patients
  • Coordinate financial arrangements with patients, offering payment options
  • Assist in identifying, alerting front desk, and collecting previous balances and current copays
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related tasks as assigned
