- 4+ years experience in a related field (Maintenance, Tractor Trailer, etc.)
- 1-2+ years supervisory experience
- Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work all shifts (2nd/3rd shift)
Responsibilities
- Work directly with transportation supervisor
- Assign priority of work to mechanics and process repair work orders
- Assist in repair, diagnosis, and other tasks involved in equipment repairs
- Administer in-house and external repairs of fleet tractors, trailers, and reefers
- Ensure all maintenance management documentation and equipment is in compliance with DOT regulations
- Manage department's invoicing
- Professionally interact directly with fleet industry vendors for parts/supply ordering, repair matters, and fleet support
- Perform routine DOT BIT inspections
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties
- Ensure that shop area is clean, organized, and in compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
