Requirements

4+ years experience in a related field (Maintenance, Tractor Trailer, etc.)
1-2+ years supervisory experience
Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access and Outlook
Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work all shifts (2nd/3rd shift)

Responsibilities

Work directly with transportation supervisor
Assign priority of work to mechanics and process repair work orders
Assist in repair, diagnosis, and other tasks involved in equipment repairs
Administer in-house and external repairs of fleet tractors, trailers, and reefers
Ensure all maintenance management documentation and equipment is in compliance with DOT regulations
Manage department's invoicing
Professionally interact directly with fleet industry vendors for parts/supply ordering, repair matters, and fleet support
Perform routine DOT BIT inspections
Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties
Ensure that shop area is clean, organized, and in compliance
Perform other duties as assigned
