Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree related to a Supply Chain field
  • Fluent English (Intermediate to Advanced)
  • Analytical Thinking (ability to define problems, assess impact, use tools like flowcharts, Pareto, Ishikawa)
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking (application in operational decisions, data organization, risk assessment)
  • Problem Solving (identification/documentation of problems, intermediate use of Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, diagnostic tools)
  • Relationship Management (leadership of multidisciplinary teams, communication across levels, customer satisfaction, negotiation)
  • Transportation – PHA knowledge (punctual shipments, logistical incidents, costs/invoicing/freight payments, national transport alternatives, bidding/carrier analysis)
  • Supply Chain Management (systems/software for automation, process analysis, experience in at least one area: purchasing, logistics, inventory, or distribution)
  • 24/7 schedule availability
  • 100% face-to-face in Santa Maria (relocation assistance not available)
  • Considerations for best candidates: Green Belt or Lean certification, similar Supply Chain experience, Leadership Skills, Advanced English

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing transportation plans and identifying opportunities for improvements to meet client needs
  • Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems for shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date
  • Generating and analyzing reports on transportation costs, carrier performance, and lead times
  • Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and providing solutions to reduce lead times
  • Providing team support to resolve operational situations with suppliers, dealers, carriers, and/or CAT facilities
  • Coaching the team on developing professional skills according to role needs/requirements
  • Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control commodity movement throughout manufacturing or distribution networks for optimal costs and smooth operations
