Experience managing a team of Training Leads

Skills in facilitating new hire orientation and training classes
Ability to maintain training materials, records, and ensure alignment with SOPs/operational standards
Experience assessing instructional effectiveness and creating training aids/resources (including translations)
Capability to work with agencies for onboarding temporary employees
Knowledge of compliance training, safety prioritization, and monitoring participation/impact
Experience communicating training compliance/progress to stakeholders
Leadership skills in managing, mentoring, and developing Training Leads, including performance evaluations and feedback
Ability to maintain team training matrices and foster collaborative environments
Adaptability to additional tasks as assigned

Responsibilities

Roll out local and national training programs, collaborating with the national training team to implement company-wide programs across departments
Ensure local training initiatives align with national standards/objectives and provide feedback on local needs/program effectiveness
Assess and identify gaps in employee knowledge/skills at the local site, aligning training priorities with operational goals and KPIs (Efficiency, Error Rate, Turnover, TIR, FSIR, OTFR, etc.)
Implement effective training programs to address gaps and communicate solutions to the national team for best practices
Continuously evaluate training effectiveness and make adjustments
Manage training and data effectively in the learning management system
Facilitate training classes for new hire orientation and new hire training program
Maintain new hire training materials and records, ensuring ability to produce training records as required
Ensure training materials are available, accessible, accurate, and aligned with current SOPs/operational standards
Assess instructional effectiveness, work with local/national CI and Training teams for impact determination, and make recommendations
Create and implement training aids/resources as needed, including translations
Work with agencies to onboard new temporary employees and ensure required training completion
Work with HR/department stakeholders to maintain compliance goals for refresher/onboarding programs
Partner with local/national CI and Training teams to monitor training participation/impact
Regularly communicate site training compliance/progress to stakeholders and maintain up-to-date records of compliance training completion
Prioritize safety training
Manage a team of Training Leads to ensure new hires receive hands-on training
Develop/maintain team training matrix, identifying/treating gaps as necessary
Lead, mentor, and develop Training Leads to drive key metrics, policies, and SOPs
Foster a collaborative/innovative team environment and conduct performance evaluations/provide feedback
Adapt to all other responsibilities as assigned
