Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in Traditional Chinese (from Hong Kong) (grammar, vocabulary, composition, punctuation)
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Availability to work full time onsite in Cupertino, CA (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, 35 hours per week)
  • Valid visa to work in the USA
  • Ability, willingness, and experience in communicating positively with customers at various levels
  • Ability to give clear, concise, and constructive feedback
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, linguists
  • Ability and willingness to train/teach others and pass on knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Perform linguistic tasks
  • Coordinate the linguistic team, including:
  • Reviewing copy and giving feedback to testers; communicating feedback received from the client
  • Supporting testers in understanding corrections resulting from the arbitration process
  • Acting as liaison for terminology, style issues, product features & questions
  • Supporting the onboarding of new testers
  • Identifying linguistic-specific training needs for the language; creating, maintaining, and delivering the linguistic training program
  • Quality management planning and execution
  • Client engagement
  • Linguistic assets management
  • Ensure overall quality of the language at an account level
  • Serve as the main point of contact for Language Leads
