Requirements

Candidates must possess over 10 years of professional experience in Computer Science beyond an advanced degree. Required expertise includes building, managing, and coaching teams of frontend, backend, and mobile software engineers and designers, proficiency with NodeJS and React, and experience collaborating with Product Managers. Familiarity with current industry coding practices, design patterns, frameworks, deployment and test automation, and experience building real-time trading UIs within Financial Services are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Product Engineering Manager will lead and manage a team of Full Stack Web Engineers responsible for the BitMEX.com website, APIs, and mobile applications. Key responsibilities include fostering a high-performance culture, hiring and mentoring team members, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Affiliates, and other Product Engineering teams to execute the retail strategy, and defining and overseeing the development of crypto experiences for traders. The role also involves leading technical initiatives, establishing engineering best practices, modernizing technology standards, and enhancing the efficiency of delivering financial products.
