Requirements

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
10 years of experience (combination of work history and education: Doctorate + 3 years, Master’s + 4 years, Bachelor’s + 6 years, Associate’s + 8 years, or HS diploma + 10 years)
Compliance with DoD 8140 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2
Available to travel up to 20% of the time
Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and eligibility to drive an AT&T company car
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
Layer 1 network experience (CAT5/6, SM/MM Fiber, Serial cables, SFP)
Layer 2 network experience (configure/troubleshoot switches/routers, MAC addresses, VLANs, port security, thin and thick configs)
Layer 3 network experience (subnetting, protocols such as OSPF, BGP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE)
Experience performing IOS upgrades for Cisco, Juniper, Brocade, and Foundry OS
Experience with Visio
Familiarity with ServiceNow and Confluence
Up to 10% COMSEC responsibilities based on site and team needs
Office presence a minimum of 5 days per week (no relocation offered)

Responsibilities

Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices
Respond to and resolve incidents, demonstrate troubleshooting skills, and communicate with the team
Complete assigned tasks within Service Level Objectives/Agreements (SLOs/SLAs)
Draft and implement standard network change requests
Provide support to Tier III network engineers for incident management and projects (site surveys, TEMS, coordinate and install new equipment)
Perform configuration management functions (update topology drawings, ensure asset management records are accurate, conduct inventory)
Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades (knowledge of CISCO/Juniper RMA process)
Configure and troubleshoot layer 2 switching (VLANs, Port Security, Thin Configs)
Support customer’s computer data communications systems by providing design specifications, testing, inspections for computer networks; plan and implement upgrades; analyze and organize hardware and software solutions through network modeling
