Requirements

Ability to lead collaboration among an interdisciplinary team

Experience or capability to work in acute care settings (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient)
In-training licensure or fully licensed (for retention bonus eligibility)
Commitment to full-time schedule (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday)
Adherence to ethical guidelines, confidentiality, and professional conduct
Knowledge of Joint Commission, State, and regulatory agency compliance
Ability to report suspected abuse/neglect per state law and system policy
Strong interdisciplinary collaboration and assertive communication skills

Flexibility to support staffing/scheduling changes and other duties as assigned

Responsibilities

Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions
Assess patients' needs through comprehensive evaluations
Develop and guide implementation of individualized treatment plans
Facilitate treatment team meetings and clinical interventions
Provide counseling, support, and evidence-based techniques in sessions and milieu
Educate patients on mental health/substance use conditions, self-care, and treatment options
Document patient progress, sessions, goals, and interventions within required timelines
Collaborate with internal/external professionals (e.g., psychiatrists, social workers) for coordinated care
Report and document suspected physical, sexual abuse, and/or neglect
Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical initiatives/projects
Ensure patient safety, facility safety, and regulatory compliance
Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining department process knowledge
