Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing test platforms
  • Experience with test equipment troubleshooting, debugging test software, and products
  • Ability to perform root cause failure analysis
  • Skills in calibration and preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Experience supporting new equipment evaluations
  • Capability to develop new test programs and complete test acceptance/validations
  • Knowledge of implementing engineering changes while maintaining program integrity
  • Strong communication skills for technical leadership and customer interaction
  • Ability to create training materials (e.g., Specific Function Training, Assembly Build Instructions)

Responsibilities

  • Review and react to key process indicators to increase program capability while maintaining low false call levels
  • Identify program or system gaps and implement solutions across the site
  • Actively listen and respond to internal customer needs and participate in sector teams to support external customer satisfaction
  • Provide technical leadership at the product level using strong communication skills
  • Work with planners and manufacturing Supervisors/Leads to support production schedule priorities
  • Support manufacturing Operators and Technicians in troubleshooting and debugging test equipment, software, and products
  • Lead root cause failure analysis and implement solutions to reduce or eliminate downtime
  • Lead calibration and preventative maintenance of equipment
  • Support new equipment evaluations and provide feedback as required
  • Develop new programs, complete test acceptance/validations, and implement engineering changes
  • Lead development of training for Operators or Manufacturing Test Technicians
  • Attend vendor training sessions to improve expertise and train others
