Requirements

BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 7 years of testing automation experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance from Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL (preferred); in-office 1-2 days per week required
Position not eligible for current or future visa sponsorship

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee enterprise test automation strategies and functions, including test strategy framework, technical test leadership, standardized test architecture, methodologies, and process architecture
Handle test planning for strategic/complex initiatives, test automation strategy, end-to-end test strategy, and test environment strategy requirements
Play a leadership role in the design, development, and implementation of automation components
Establish automation tools, frameworks, and methodology
Mentor staff in testing automation processes
Establish current automation architectures as business and technical conditions change
Supervise the use of appropriate automation methods to ensure developed products conform to requirements and design
Facilitate review of applications for automation needs and requirements/design quality
Provide consultation to projects and application support groups regarding automation design, development, and execution
Understand organizational impacts and trade-offs of automation processes
Play a leadership role in managing resources from alternate development centers
