Requirements

Navy or submarine experience (valuable asset)
Proficiency with electrical measurement tools, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy while reporting to a supervisor or manager
Enthusiastic and driven professional approach, confident when working with engineering groups and external entities
Ability to work in a fast-paced, integrated product development team with professionals from multiple contracting organizations and DoD laboratory entities

Responsibilities

Collaborating with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct testing and integration
Employing a professional and confident approach when working with various engineering groups and external entities to define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests
Identifying functional issues and proposing effective resolutions
Developing and analyzing test cases while providing regular progress updates
Crafting comprehensive test procedures
Conducting Verification and Validation for corrective changes
Performing installations, rip-outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems
Assisting in configuring the lab in accordance with relevant drawings and port maps
Supporting informal and formal test events, as well as other customer-driven test activities
Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software, firmware, and hardware defects and collaborating with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Occasional travel to submarine home ports for Field Services activities
Supporting the Logistics team in the development of installation and operation procedures
