Prior experience in the pet industry or as a Territory Sales Manager is a plus. The role requires the ability to develop and execute territory sales strategies, analyze data to drive strategic plans, and work both independently and collaboratively.
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Pittsburgh, PA, by developing and executing sales strategies. This includes forecasting, planning, and managing sales-related budgets. Key duties involve building and maintaining strong relationships with distributors and retailers, providing product and brand training, and addressing customer issues. The role also includes seeking new business opportunities, executing promotional campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, reporting sales results, and ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
