Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Provides constant monitoring of SCADA system and adjusts controls to regulate process variables (e.g., pressures, flow rates, fluid levels) as necessary to maintain operating efficiency within design operating parameters
  • Prepares and distributes reports, including data from equipment readings, rail car tracking (e.g., status, categorize/sort, locations), daily progress, railroad carrier updates, incidents, and other items as needed
  • Serves as primary contact for facility phone calls, monitors security cameras, grants facility access via security system
  • Demonstrates basic working knowledge of Terminal Operator job to assist when needed; upon qualification, issues and monitors safe work permits
  • Serves as primary contact for all scheduling-related matters; communicates and collaborates internally with plant operators, loaders, quality testers, marketers, and other schedulers, and externally with third parties to facilitate efficient product movement
  • Ensures billing adheres to Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations
  • Administers bill of lading (BOL) and waybills as they relate to shipping
