Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years, 8 to 10 years, or 15+ years of relevant experience (pharmacist roles)
  • Agree to complete required Board of Pharmacy paperwork to oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with all policies, rules, laws, and regulations

Responsibilities

  • Act as temporary Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) on file with the Board of Pharmacy (ideally 180 days or less), overseeing operational aspects including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management (e.g., technician scheduling), inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management
  • Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
  • Lead with heart by displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
  • Motivate, inspire, and develop pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments to maximize strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps
  • Identify critical business opportunities and meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve pharmacy performance
  • Implement solutions by leading the team to achieve specified goals
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans in a dynamic community healthcare setting
  • Seek new ways to grow, collaborate, and deliver better outcomes
