Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in critical care nursing preferred
Strong assessment skills
Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment

Responsibilities

Examines patient chart information regularly to assess patient condition, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status to primary nurse and/or other appropriate care team members
Uses virtual conference tools to assess patient/family/caregiver’s emotional response to illness, including expressed needs and coping mechanisms
Incorporates remote technology to support the care of ICU patients across all Virtua Hospitals
Provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care for patients using established nursing models
