Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Examines patient chart information regularly to assess patient condition, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status to primary nurse and/or other appropriate care team members
  • Uses virtual conference tools to assess patient/family/caregiver’s emotional response to illness, including expressed needs and coping mechanisms
  • Incorporates remote technology to support the care of ICU patients across all Virtua Hospitals
  • Provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care for patients using established nursing models
