Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in a Superior EHS Technician role
  • Written and verbal communication in English is a must
  • EHS Master with all technical specialties (safety, industrial hygienic, ergonomic and psychology) is a requirement
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 45001 and similar standards and best practices
  • EHS experience working in industrial environments is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards, comply with safety regulations, and establish corrective actions
  • Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols
  • Promptly report and investigate workplace incidents and accidents, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and corrective measures are implemented
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the legislation. As well as implement procedures to ensure all aspects of safety are covered
  • Commun activities of Safety Departments: Risk assessment elaborations, implementation of actions derived in the Preventive Planning and follow-up, documental management according to EHS system requirements, EHS coordination with contractors and subcontractors
