Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in Hardware: Handling servers, storage, structured cabling, UPS, racks
  • At least 2 years of experience in Operating Systems: Basic administration (monitoring, start/stop/restart services, log review, etc.)
  • At least 2 years of experience in Energy and Cooling: Knowledge of electrical systems, UPS, generators, etc
  • Location: Santiago (requires on-site presence)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multifunctional teams to improve system performance
  • Define technical requirements for integration and scalability
  • Monitor and maintain infrastructure to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLA)
  • Participate in discussions to identify and resolve technical challenges
  • Track key performance indicators related to capacity management
  • Accompany third-party providers on demand in the main Data Center and secondary site
  • Provide remote support (remote hands) to levels 2 and 3
  • Keep Data Center network diagrams updated and support projects from various areas implementing equipment in it
  • Coordinate the transfer of magnetic media through the provider for transportation and storage
