Requirements

Candidates should possess a strong understanding of tax data improvement, tax analytics, and reporting enhancement. Experience with emerging tax technologies such as RPA, AI, cloud solutions, data lake development, and business intelligence innovation is required. Familiarity with tax technology program mobilization, custom tax technology application development and deployment, tax technology strategy and road mapping, direct and indirect tax systems implementation and configuration, tax operating model transformation, and tax function assessments is also necessary. Experience with MS SQL Server, SharePoint, and MS Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

The Digitization Director will help businesses navigate the digital landscape of tax transparency, new trends in tax compliance, and tax audit methods. Responsibilities include assisting in the production of leading practice MS SQL Server, SharePoint, and MS Power BI solutions, implementing third-party tax applications, and supporting and automating internal and external operations of multinational tax departments. The role involves developing a highly trained team while focusing on quality and commercial value, taking ownership of assigned tasks, documenting requirements, configuration, testing, debugging, project profitability, and tax systems and process configuration. Additionally, the role requires identifying ways to automate manual tasks using existing financial or tax systems and emerging technologies.
