Requirements
Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic/Civil/Mechanical Engineering Technology or related fields plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and 4 years of related utility industry work experience
Valid Driver's License
Physical ability to walk rights-of-way of various terrain in adverse conditions to patrol distribution power lines, carry/handle telescopic measuring sticks and switching sticks (11 pounds), use brush axe (6 pounds) or machete (2 pounds) to clear brush, and meet Light Work physical demands (exerting up to 20 pounds occasionally, 10-12 pounds frequently, etc.)
Responsibilities
Perform intermediate level technical work and related activities associated with planning, engineering, design, analysis, research, development, testing, construction, maintenance, and operation of company equipment and facilities
Use knowledge and experience to perform cost-effective work efficiently, demonstrating understanding of equipment, materials, systems, processes, and intermediate computer literacy
