Requirements
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing commercial food equipment (e.g., combi ovens, deli slicers, auto meat cutters, fryers, hot cases, ice makers, pizza ovens, rotisserie ovens, thermoglazers, donut cases, four bowl warmers, bakery ovens, bread slicers, tortilla makers)
- Ability to develop and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules
- Capability to train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning
- Competence in managing work orders and maintenance logs
- Clear, transparent, and respectful communication for customer service
- Ability to handle changing and competing demands (adaptability)
- Strong collaborative skills and belief in Servant Leadership (teamwork)
- Skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and material handling equipment maintenance
- Understanding of food safety and limiting risk of cross contamination in food production areas
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial food equipment, grease and oil systems (e.g., oil/water separators, used cooking oil tanks)
- Develop and adhere to preventative maintenance schedules to reduce maintenance and repair expenses
- Train Store Associates on equipment care and cleaning to reduce misuse and damage
- Manage and accurately complete work orders and maintenance logs in a timely manner
- Ensure safety and proper functionality of all serviced equipment
- Provide high levels of customer service and maintain operational efficiency in Walmart stores
