Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks
  • Train in electrical diagnosis of starting & charging systems
  • Train in air conditioning & heating component identification & inspection
  • Train in wheel end assembly component identification & inspection
  • Train in air system component identification & inspection
  • Train in air brakes component identification & inspection
  • Train in hydraulics component identification and inspection
  • Complete truck preventative maintenance
  • Gain hands-on experience in basic tire work, wheel end components, mechanic skills, hydraulics, and electrical systems through on-the-job training
  • Participate in mentorship, virtual instructor-led technical content, leadership development, life skills, and wellness training
