Requirements

  • Experience performing calibrations (inferred from context)

  • Associate’s degree or college coursework in a technical field

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise calibrations on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures according to written and automated procedures
  • Ensure all calibrations are completed in accordance with the established schedule
  • Coordinate with certified external vendors for calibration of equipment that cannot be maintained internally
  • Maintain accurate and detailed calibration records to support compliance, facilitate troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Support the development and refinement of departmental procedures to enhance calibration processes and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Systems Requirements and other regulatory standards, including QSR and ISO Standards
  • Apply knowledge of technical concepts and practices, and an understanding of product or system fundamentals, from basic to complex, towards the resolution of manufacturing and/or research and development tasks
  • Perform set-up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of all area-specific equipment, materials, systems, and or products
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems requiring interpretation of procedures and practices
  • Analyze situations or data to identify issues and trends
  • Provide input to engineering, qualifications, and validation studies and reports, write procedures, and may keep a lab notebook
  • Collect, compile, measure, summarize, record, and document specific data gathered during a calibration
  • Plan, organize, and prioritize own daily work routine to meet established schedule and assigned tasks or projects
  • Communicate as a team member with other functional groups as well as with internal customers
  • Complete daily work to meet established schedule with guidance from supervisor on prioritization of tasks
  • Solve problems of limited scope and complexity, requiring basic interpretation of well-defined procedures and practices
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents
