Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Active Directory
  • 6+ years of experience in Windows Administration, MS Cluster Administration, Networking, Performance Tuning, Patch Management, Windows Upgrades in production environments, including customer-facing or customer support roles
  • Experience with monitoring technologies (thresholds, parameters, analysis)
  • Storage & Backup Support experience, including SAN Switch
  • Experience with Alletra Storage, Commvault, and Tape Library
  • Knowledge of Backup & Replication
  • Expertise in Network/Server Automation and Storage Monitoring
  • Science Graduate (IT/Computer), preferably BE/B.Tech/MCA, with minimum 3 years in Compute/Servers, Storage, Backup solutions
  • Strong leadership skills: driving/motivating team performance, conflict resolution, developmental feedback, clear communication, goal setting, team dynamics, interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, team player, knowledge sharing
  • Decision-making skills, negotiating skills, time-resource management, teamwork, knowledge of quality processes
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and onsite at HPE partner/customer office

Responsibilities

  • Overall proactive monitoring through online dashboard and management of equipment, endpoints, servers, database, network devices, and related services
  • Installing and testing desktop software applications in customer environment and configuring internet browsers for customer applications
  • Extending central support to users with respect to tools (Manage Engine)
  • Coordinating delivery/deployment/discovery of agents/endpoints and installation of new hardware, software, and necessary licenses in stipulated period
  • Providing timely resolution of OS-related issues raised by the customer
  • Tape Management
  • Backup Policy Creation
  • Scheduling Backup on DC, DR
  • Archival Management
  • OEM Liaising
  • Support during DR-DRILL
  • Responsible for OEM Health check of Deployed Solution
  • Carry out Preventive maintenance through OEMs
