Requirements

University degree (or equivalent) in Science/Engineering or related discipline with initial experience in the food & beverage industry, or several years of practical experience in this field
Ability to solve complex technical problems, make recommendations, and provide in-depth reasoning while guiding team members (internal and/or external)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English, with the ability to write technical reports. Ability to speak Korean would also be advantageous
Relevant work experience in the food and beverage industry (e.g., in a liquid processing production environment and with laboratory equipment)
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, domestically and internationally to customer sites and other Pall locations globally
A valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record
Ability to lift, move or carry equipment/samples up to 10-15kg on occasion

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive technical guidance and technical leadership to all internal and external customers across Japan and Korea food & beverage market to ensure best practices in various applications
Conduct feasibility studies from laboratory to industrial scale and present the results to the relevant audience
Provide technical solutions, taking into account the project objectives, and to optimize the entire process upstream and downstream
Assist with troubleshooting on site at the customer’s premises
Work in a global team of technical experts
