Requirements

  • University degree (or equivalent) in Science/Engineering or related discipline with initial experience in the food & beverage industry, or several years of practical experience in this field
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems, make recommendations, and provide in-depth reasoning while guiding team members (internal and/or external)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English, with the ability to write technical reports. Ability to speak Korean would also be advantageous
  • Relevant work experience in the food and beverage industry (e.g., in a liquid processing production environment and with laboratory equipment)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, domestically and internationally to customer sites and other Pall locations globally
  • A valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift, move or carry equipment/samples up to 10-15kg on occasion

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive technical guidance and technical leadership to all internal and external customers across Japan and Korea food & beverage market to ensure best practices in various applications
  • Conduct feasibility studies from laboratory to industrial scale and present the results to the relevant audience
  • Provide technical solutions, taking into account the project objectives, and to optimize the entire process upstream and downstream
  • Assist with troubleshooting on site at the customer’s premises
  • Work in a global team of technical experts
