Requirements

Completion of a four-year apprenticeship program in electrical/electronic technology, mechanical technology, or manufacturing technology; or combination of associate degree and 3 years related experience
Strong technical understanding of electrical or mechanical components, tools, and designs
Knowledge of failure mode effects analysis, cause and effect diagrams, root cause failure analysis, life-cycle costing, and risk analysis
Ability to research and apply new equipment technology / trends
Robust problem solving, mathematical, analytical, and decision-making skills
Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications, including Microsoft Office
Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships
Competencies: Drive & Motivation, Interpersonal Skills, Task Management, Customer Focus, Self-awareness
Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, lift/move more than 50 pounds, use close and color vision; tolerance for loud factory environment, outside weather, electrical shock risk, hazardous materials, slippery floors

Responsibilities

Promotes and adheres to the ATS safety culture
Identifies top repetitive losses within availability, performance efficiency and quality rate
Is actively engaged with ATS Root Cause Analysis process and provides training and coaching to ATS Maintenance personnel
Provides solutions to root cause deficiencies
Actively drives the implementation of “systemic” improvement projects
Identifies and implements current and new processes to increase both Maintenance and Operations performance and throughput (productivity)
Performs Process FMEA’s (or RCM analysis) on identified top 20% critical assets
Provides technical service to operations and manufacturing personnel as needed, including analytical troubleshooting
Supports the use of predictive, preventative, and precision maintenance technologies and strategies designed to identify or control risks prior to failure and ensure optimum maintenance execution
Actively supports the implementation of ATS Operating System towards “Gold Status” within Safety, People, Process and Technology
Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and ATS policies and procedures
