Requirements

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in a customer or product team facing technical role and over 5 years of experience in the phone industry with enterprise deployments. They should possess SaaS Collaboration sales experience (web conferencing, cloud voice, UCaaS, CCaaS), be a UCaaS industry expert with a strong understanding of VoIP/Telephony Architecture, PBX, SBCs, and telephony solution deployments (including cloud). A functional understanding of REST APIs and JSON, proficiency in Javascript or Python for API testing and integration validation, expert-level solution integration knowledge, and thorough industry landscape knowledge are also required.

Responsibilities

The Technical Sales Architect will help increase the technical relevance of the solutions engineering community by influencing platform technical direction and architecture strategy, and prioritizing development efforts. They will establish relationships with key architects, promote architectural standard methodologies, and lead teams to define and communicate technology and platform strategy. Responsibilities include partnering with product managers on feature prioritization, building and prioritizing platform and integration strategy, developing and hosting training sessions for pre-sales and technical field teams, building integration labs, providing interoperability recommendations, creating technical white papers and guides, supporting product launch activities, and assisting with trade shows and executive briefings.
