Requirements

Candidates must have 20+ years of experience leading technical research teams in or adjacent to the technology industry, holding a senior leadership position such as Director or Vice President. While coaching certification is a plus, candidates must possess strong people leadership skills, a passion for career development, self-awareness, high emotional intelligence, and a growth mindset. They must be comfortable in a startup environment, able to dedicate a minimum of 12+ hours per month for 24+ months, and be based in North America or Europe.

Responsibilities

Coaches will form 1:1 partnerships with members to help them identify and track goals, improve leadership and communication skills, problem-solve workplace issues, and enhance overall job satisfaction. Responsibilities include conducting virtual coaching sessions, participating in ongoing training, communicating with members between sessions via email or app, sharing coaching tools and insights with the Mento community, and acting as an ambassador for the Mento community with kindness, respect, and empathy.
