Requirements

  • Basic experience in Engineering/Technology & Technical Writing (knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience)
  • Demonstrated good English skills including writing and reading
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
  • Good learning skills and willingness to learn
  • Willingness to adopt new technology for technical publication work such as AI
  • Team player

Responsibilities

  • Documents product technical information into easily comprehensible language
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality documentation and contribute to larger teams on projects as needed
  • Responsible for work tasks connected to the creation and maintenance of technical publications
  • Work with engineering teams to transition technical knowledge into documentation appropriate to the end user's needs and time requirements
  • Actively participate in the planning and execution of new development projects
  • Adhere to the GEHC Quality System, using the PRD process and MyWorkShop during the technical publication process
  • Ensure that the technical publication meets or exceeds quality and cost goals
  • Support other departments in issues related to technical publications
  • Lead/own NPI and IB product technical publication tasks including create, produce, publish, revise, update, and translate Technical Publications
