Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with over seven years of Project Management Experience and at least ten years of total technology experience. A CAPM, PMP, or similar designation is preferred, along with 3-5 years of Agile methodology experience (SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban) and preferred Agile training certifications (CSM, PSM, A-CSM, SMC). Demonstrated ability to manage projects using various methodologies (Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban) and experience with the full software development lifecycle are essential. Knowledge of project management tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, SharePoint, and Jira, along with experience in third-party system support (preferably in insurance/financial services), IT systems governance, compliance, conversions, and implementations, is required. Strong problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, organizational, communication, and change management skills are necessary. The ability to tailor communications, influence decisions, work within broad parameters, lead others, drive results with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization, and mentor junior Technical Project Managers is also required. Knowledge of annuities and life products, along with a PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification, is preferred. Candidates must also be willing to travel a minimum of 10% of the time.
The Technical Project Manager IV will plan and manage the delivery of solutions and business objectives, coordinating multiple matrixed teams and external clients to ensure delivery according to plan and Service Level Agreements. This role involves managing changes to project scope, schedule, and costs, communicating expectations to align stakeholders and team members, and measuring project performance to identify and correct variances. Responsibilities include executing tasks as defined in the project plan, creating project organization structures, identifying and mitigating project risks, and recording detailed customer requirements using various techniques. The position also requires improving team performance through leadership and mentoring, communicating and supporting stakeholders to build rapport, and demonstrating Zinnia's core values. Additionally, the role may involve acting as a Scrum Master or Product Owner within an Agile Scrum team.
