Requirements

BSEE, BSCS, or equivalent with 8+ years in the networking industry (minimum)
2–3 years in software development or system/feature testing
3+ years as a Program or Release Manager
MSEE, MSCS, or equivalent with 10+ years in networking (preferred)
Strong leadership and accountability in matrixed environments
Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Deep understanding of SDLC models and release management
Excellent problem-solving and risk mitigation skills
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities
Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Hands-on proficiency with version control tools: ClearCase, GIT, SVN, Perforce, Jira
Knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Integration (CI) practices
Familiarity with codeline management methods
Networking certifications and industry experience (bonus)
Data analytics expertise (bonus)

Responsibilities

Lead complex software releases (Junos Selective Updates) from concept to delivery
Analyze incoming requests for feasibility—both technical and operational
Define infrastructure requirements to produce appropriate software images
Drive teams to resolve Problem Reports (PRs) and bugs
Manage the full lifecycle of JSU release production, including validation
Coordinate with other Release Managers on PR fixes, builds, and testing
Integrate development and testing activities across multiple release vehicles
Provide detailed status updates on current and past JSUs
Collaborate across engineering teams and executive levels to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
Engage in tactical planning and program management aligned with business needs
