Requirements

Experience in planning, directing, and coordinating work activities and resources for efficient production
Knowledge of managing production budgets, cost reporting, and financial performance
Expertise in people management, team leadership, mentoring, and building motivated teams
Understanding of compliance with health, safety, environmental, industry regulations, and internal policies
Ability to lead manufacturing, machine shop, maintenance, and facilities functions
Skills in strategic planning, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., OEE data analysis)
Proficiency in reviewing production schedules, orders, inventory, staffing, and work procedures under budgetary and time constraints
Capability to prepare reports, presentations, budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure proposals
Knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, automation, and technological advancements

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations, including manufacturing, machine shop, maintenance, and facilities to ensure smooth and efficient production
Manage production budget, cost reporting, and financial performance within targets
Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop production teams, fostering enthusiasm, flexibility, and best practices
Ensure full accountability for safety, customer quality, cost, quantity, and delivery requirements
Allocate resources effectively to optimize workflows, productivity, and meet production targets
Identify process improvements, implement best practices, highlight deficiencies, and recommend changes in training, work practices, and processes
Develop and implement operational strategies, manufacturing vision, policies, procedures, and standard policies aligned with company goals
Ensure compliance with regulations, maintain high quality and safety standards, and monitor quality standards of products
Review production orders, schedules, update production plans daily, and achieve target productivity levels
Prepare and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, approve expenditures, and minimize costs
Liaise with departments, confer with technical staff to resolve production problems, and facilitate cross-department collaboration
Monitor and manage production projects, equipment maintenance, modifications, or procurement
Drive improvements in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through data analysis
Deploy internal/external technical resources and systems for projects
Create reports and presentations for management and stakeholders using production data
