Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and at least 5 years of experience in software engineering. Proficiency in Java and developing high-scale, production-ready applications is required, along with strong experience in SQL and NoSQL databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture. Experience with API design and development, including RESTful services, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and third-party API integrations is also necessary. Experience in healthcare, biosensors, or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Technical Lead will develop and enhance backend microservices using technologies such as Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL databases, Elasticsearch, Message Queues, and Docker. They will implement event-driven architectures for real-time communication, write and maintain automated tests, integrate with third-party systems, ensure reliability, security, and scalability in integrations while adhering to compliance requirements like HIPAA, and take on additional responsibilities as needed in a dynamic environment. They will also collaborate closely with various teams including backend, mobile, and AI engineers, as well as clinical teams, to build innovative solutions and empower members with personalized experiences.
