Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Architecture, Technical Communication, UX Design, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in information architecture, technical documentation, UX writing, or content strategy for technical audiences. They should have strong working knowledge of Confluence, Jira, and collaborative documentation tools, and the ability to create clear technical diagrams using tools such as Lucidchart or Draw.io. A solid understanding of web development concepts, REST APIs, system architecture, and DevOps practices is also preferred.
The Technical Information Architect will design and implement an end-to-end information architecture for all technical documentation, including developer notes, system administration manuals, DevOps processes, and product specs. They will aggregate, organize, and label content from various teams into a unified structure within Confluence, Jira, and related tools, establish documentation standards and best practices, create visually clear diagrams, collaborate with engineering teams to ensure documentation accuracy, link related documentation across domains, conduct content audits, and advocate for knowledge-sharing strategies.
