Requirements

  • Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and/or financial systems (experience with platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Deltek Costpoint a plus)
  • Proficiency in requirements management, process mapping, and data analysis (tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or Lucidchart)
  • Knowledge of systems integration, APIs, and modern enterprise architectures (cloud, SaaS, hybrid models)
  • Familiarity with AI-driven solutions, machine learning concepts, and emerging agentic software platforms, with the ability to assess their applicability in enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively from end users to C-suite
  • Proven track record of driving outcomes in regulated or compliance-heavy industries (government, defense, or public sector experience a plus)
  • 7+ years of progressive experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
  • Prior experience at a Big Four firm (e.g., Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) or Booz Allen Hamilton strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in consulting methodologies, structured problem-solving, and delivering enterprise-scale technology projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Extensive consulting experience gained at a top-tier firm such as a Big Four consultancy

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders, technical teams, and external stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business requirements for enterprise systems, platforms, and integrations
  • Analyze current business processes, workflows, and data models to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation or modernization
  • Develop and manage business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories aligned with enterprise architecture standards
  • Support solution design by working closely with architects, developers, and engineers to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder interviews to drive consensus and alignment
  • Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies for new systems or enhancements
  • Solve technical problems by identifying root causes, collaborating with engineering teams, and recommending sustainable solutions for complex issues
  • Triage and prioritize system issues, incidents, and defects to ensure timely resolution while balancing business impact, risk, and technical constraints
  • Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of end-to-end workflows
  • Evaluate opportunities to leverage AI tools, agentic platforms, and intelligent automation solutions to streamline processes and enhance decision-making
  • Deliver executive-ready presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate findings, options, and recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, leveraging prior consulting experience to provide insight into the industry’s best practices, regulatory compliance, and technology trends
