High school diploma + 1-3 years related experience or education combined
Demonstrated math and reading comprehension
Flexibility, enthusiasm, and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment with multiple projects and tasks

Usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintenance of a very high level of personal hygiene
Availability for weekend and holiday work on rotation

Responsibilities
Assists with all aspects of study execution including in-vivo study protocol review, biological sample collection, and data collection in accordance with regulatory requirements
Performs a variety of animal activities including animal husbandry, animal treatments, record keeping, and laboratory and instrument maintenance in accordance with applicable Animal Welfare and GXP policies
Cleans and disinfects animal areas
Carries out duties according to protocol and applicable SOPs
Utilizes knowledge of how functional areas interact in the completion of research protocols
Provides communication with and assistance to lead technicians, manager, and researchers
Assists and supports clinical veterinarians with all aspects of veterinary care
Contributes to continuous improvement and shares knowledge and expertise with others in work group
Properly uses and maintains all necessary equipment and follows proper techniques as determined by departmental SOPs and Institutional Policies
Performs all phases of clinical and preclinical studies associated with the discovery and/or development of animal health products (primarily companion animals like dogs and cats, with possible cross-support for other species)
