Rich domain experience in financial services industry, preferably with financial markets within pre/post trade life cycles or large-scale buy/sell/brokerage organizations
Experience in architecture design for multiple products and large-scale change programmes
Adept with application development and engineering methods and tools
Robust experience with microservices
High on energy and motivation, feels challenged by difficult problems

Responsibilities

Establish, maintain, socialise, and realise the target state of Product Architecture for post-trade businesses of Osttra, encompassing all services and enabling systems
Partner with portfolio delivery leads, programme managers, portfolio business leads, and horizontal technical architects to frame strategy, provide solutions for planned programmes, and guide roadmaps
Build high-level designs and low-level technical solutions, considering scalability, performance, security, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness
Own technical and architectural decisions for projects and products
Review designs, own design quality, and ensure robust code/implementation review practices
Ensure robust CI/CD and DevSecOps engineering pipelines in projects
Provide ongoing support on design and architecture problems to delivery teams
Manage tech debt log and plan remediation across deliveries and roadmaps
Maintain living Architecture Reference Documents for products
Partner with Horizontal Technical Architects to factor tech constructs and ensure feedback to technical strategies
Guide L3/L2 teams in resolution of production situations and incidents
Define guidelines and system design for DR strategies and BCP plans for products
Architect key mission-critical system components, review designs, and help uplift
Perform critical technical reviews of changes on app or infra
Enable ecosystem for well-documented functional API, message, data, and flow models, with strong governance/oversight
