Role Overview

As an Infrastructure Architect-Technical Lead, you will be responsible for owning large-scale initiatives and providing strategic and tactical guidance across Lilly Research Laboratories IT Infrastructure, including networking, storage, and specialized computing. You will be building upon, improving, and refining a robust, resilient technical architecture that serves as the foundation for Laboratory and Clinical Trial Manufacturing solutions that effectively integrate with Lilly’s enterprise infrastructure architecture.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field OR a high school diploma/GED AND at least 10 years experience working as an IT architect/engineer/tech lead.
  • 10+ years of engineering or design experience, developing complex IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale IT infrastructure designs including networks, storage, and compute solutions.
  • Experience designing complex IT infrastructure solutions that include cybersecurity best practices.
  • Certification(s) demonstrating expert-level knowledge in one or more IT infrastructure specialty areas.
