Requirements

Minimum 6 to 8 years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 to 3 years in a leadership or senior developer role
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information System (or equivalent)
Proven experience in leading development teams, guiding technical direction, and managing project delivery
Demonstrated expertise in hands-on development across web, mobile, or AI-related solutions
Strong background in full-stack development, including front-end, back-end, and database technologies
Prior experience in mentoring junior developers and fostering a collaborative team environment
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and technical decision-making abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to mentor and lead development teams effectively
Extensive hands-on experience with PHP and JavaScript, including real-world use of frameworks such as Laravel 8 and above, React, Vue.js, and Node.js
Practical experience with CSS and modern styling frameworks, especially Bootstrap, in production environments
Proven, hands-on expertise in WordPress development, including setup, theme customisation, plugin integration, and performance optimisation. Strong practical knowledge of CMS architecture and how to tailor WordPress solutions to meet custom business needs
Strong knowledge of Linux-based environments, especially Ubuntu and Red Hat
Familiarity with configuring and optimising Apache and Nginx web servers for scalability and security
Strong command of Git for version control and team collaboration
Experience with cloud hosting platforms, with AWS as a plus
AI & NLP Integration: Hands-on experience with integrating OpenAI APIs (including ChatGPT) for conversational AI solutions, along with practical use of Python-based AI frameworks such as TensorFlow for developing machine learning models and natural language processing applications
A Plus: Experience with headless CMS (e.g., Strapi, Contentful, Hygraph)
A Plus: Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud-based infrastructure scaling
A Plus: AR/VR: WebXR, Unity, ARKit/ARCore, Three.js
A Plus: Prior work in an agency or fast-paced product environment

Responsibilities

Define and enforce best practices in coding standards, architecture, and development processes
Lead strategic technical decision-making, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility
Guide project architecture, identify risks, and provide scalable, maintainable solutions
Review code and enforce quality standards across the team
Actively contribute code, particularly in complex or high-impact areas
Collaborate with account managers, creative team, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable technical plans
Break down complex project scopes into manageable tasks and allocate them to team members
Monitor project progress, mitigate technical risks, and resolve blockers
Advise on timelines, phasing strategies, and platform recommendations in collaboration with project managers
Mentor and support developers in both technical execution and career growth
Promote continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and a culture of code ownership
Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting, architecture decisions, and complex challenges
Lead by example through hands-on coding, prototyping, and development
Ensure seamless implementation of UI/UX designs with responsive and performant front-end and back-end code
Participate in the full SDLC, from planning to deployment
