Requirements

Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
Minimum of 6 months related pharmacy technician experience
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Candidate must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas
A secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area
Own internet provider with a minimum speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload (direct/hardwired connection required)
Data Entry skills
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail while multitasking
Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications

Responsibilities

Screening orders
Researching, reviewing, and entering prescription overrides
Ensuring patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner
Directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
Meeting specified production and quality standards
Performing other pharmacy functions as required
