Requirements

  • Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides
  • Minimum of 6 months related pharmacy technician experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidate must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas
  • A secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area
  • Own internet provider with a minimum speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload (direct/hardwired connection required)
  • Data Entry skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
  • Strong attention to detail while multitasking
  • Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications

Responsibilities

  • Screening orders
  • Researching, reviewing, and entering prescription overrides
  • Ensuring patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner
  • Directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
  • Meeting specified production and quality standards
  • Performing other pharmacy functions as required
