Requirements

Pharmacy Technician license in compliance with applicable state law where applicant resides (Pennsylvania requires Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT); Texas requires an active state technician license; Florida requires an active state technician license; Illinois requires active state technician license AND national certification (must be marked certified on state Illinois license))
Minimum of 6 months related pharmacy technician experience
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Candidate must reside in the state of Florida, Illinois, Pennsylvania, or Texas
A secure room free from noise and distractions, with a closing door and ergonomic-friendly work area (i.e., desk, chair)
Must have your own internet provider that can support the virtual working environment
Data Entry skills
Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint)
Strong attention to detail while multitasking through various programs
Adept at reading and interpreting prescription terminology and medications
Direct/hardwired internet connection to a modem/router within 10 feet of your computer and a minimum speed of 25 mbs download and 3 mbs upload (WiFi and satellite are not permitted)
Secure and private home workspace free from distractions

Responsibilities

Screening orders, specializing in research, review and entry of prescription overrides
Ensuring patients receive their correct prescriptions in a timely manner
Directing questionable prescriptions to the prescriber for clarification
Meeting specified production and quality standards as defined by the management team
Performing other pharmacy functions as required to support growth and development
