Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a general professional field (4 years of college)
  • 3+ years of poultry management-related experience
  • Standard computer skills, including working with Excel spreadsheets and other computer applications
  • Minimal domestic travel required
  • Ability to use safe lifting techniques; regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, balance, stoop, talk, or hear; occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds
  • Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment when visiting facilities and follow safety procedures
  • Compliance with biosecurity requirements: shower before entering facility (possibly multiple times daily), wear company-provided clothing/footwear, no jewelry except medical ID, sign agreement to avoid avian species (chickens, ducks, birds), follow Company Animal Welfare Policy and Cobb Farm Hatchery Biosecurity Standards
