Responsibilities

  • Administer the assigned production line or area under the Final Assembly Manufacturing General Supervisor or MFG Manager to meet Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives in a stable work environment
  • Plan and execute manufacturing crews according to customer requirements
  • Ensure daily labor efficiency compliance
  • Monitor and comply with hourly control (document actions for hours outside objectives)
  • Achieve objectives for Labor Efficiency, Quality, and Delivery
  • Ensure data collection points, frequency, and documentation
  • Define alarm limits and action plans
  • Collect data, develop reaction plans, and meet FTQ metrics
  • Define and implement corrective actions to the process
  • Identify causes of scrap
  • Segregate and deliver scrap daily
  • Define action plans for scrap outside objectives
  • Implement improvement actions, measure effectiveness, and proliferate
  • Detect and identify non-conforming products for rework
  • Define rework methods in conjunction with quality and engineering
  • Administer rework (people, methods, materials) safely and productively
  • Conduct Layered Audits according to procedure with established checklist
  • Define action plans for non-conformant points in audits
  • Capture audits in the defined system
  • Execute Safety Observation Tours (SOT)
  • Develop action plans to eliminate unsafe conditions and acts
  • Actively participate in safety walks
