Process financial transactions accurately (cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, bottle refunds, voids, and coupons)
Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking products
Perform front-end duties (cash register operation, suggestive selling, guest enrollment, maintaining a clean service area)
Ensure proper product identification and PLU usage; report pricing errors
Maintain understanding of store programs and product locations
Communicate company programs, specials, and coupons to customers
Comply with company policies regarding security, cash handling, product handling, alcohol/tobacco sales, etc
Maintain a clean and well-stocked department and grounds, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
Assist with stocking items on the sales floor, cooler, and back room
