Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- One year of prior retail or related experience preferred
- Good verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Independently display and stock products
- Ensure financial accuracy
- Contribute to a positive guest experience
- Adhere to company safety and food safety guidelines
- Process financial transactions accurately (cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, bottle refunds, voids, and coupons)
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking products
- Perform front-end duties (cash register operation, suggestive selling, guest enrollment, maintaining a clean service area)
- Ensure proper product identification and PLU usage; report pricing errors
- Maintain understanding of store programs and product locations
- Communicate company programs, specials, and coupons to customers
- Comply with company policies regarding security, cash handling, product handling, alcohol/tobacco sales, etc
- Maintain a clean and well-stocked department and grounds, adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with stocking items on the sales floor, cooler, and back room
- Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines
- Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations
- Follow Guest Experience Guidelines
