Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of work experience, ideally 5-7 years in a professional advisory tax organization (Big 4 or law firm preferred)
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Tax Accounting, International Tax, Transfer Pricing, Tax Controversy matters (Operating Model Efficiency, Value Chain Transformation, or similar global supply chain structuring teams a plus)
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, IFRS, and statutory accounting standards
  • A degree in law, finance, business administration, economics, accounting, or a similar field
  • ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred
  • Ability and interest in global travel and operating in a fast-paced environment
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in Ireland and Switzerland
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication or presentation skills highly valued
  • Familiarity and ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required; SAP awareness a positive

Responsibilities

  • Review of foreign entity tax provision submissions and serve as a resource for local market tax provision questions
  • Assisting with the return-to-provision reconciliation analysis in coordination with local market tax teams
  • Draft internal memos, analysis, and financial models
  • Translate data from various sources into insightful deliverables
  • Build effective long-term relationships with business teams and external advisors
  • Communicate complex tax issues to business teams, tax auditors, and courts
