Requirements

  • Completed training as a technician and/or comparable training in the natural sciences-technical field
  • Proficiency in electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, IT interfaces, and measurement technology
  • Familiarity with IT topics, including setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces, etc
  • High degree of independence and ability to act responsibly on your own
  • Very good, negotiation-secure German language skills for customer communication
  • Very good MS-Office skills + Oracle knowledge are advantageous
  • Willingness to travel and valid driver's license class B
  • Advantageous: Previous experience in a technical service company, ideally in healthcare; relevant knowledge of regulations and standards for IVDs

Responsibilities

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic systems, immunoassays, clinical chemistry, and automation systems
  • Compliance with relevant regulations such as MPG, MedGV, VDE, and Beckman Coulter quality regulations
  • Brief instruction of laboratory users and answering customers' technical questions
  • Close collaboration with colleagues from sales, application, service hotline, and service dispatch
  • Organization and optimization of personal spare parts inventory
  • Timely completion of all administrative tasks, e.g., recording service reports with Service Max
