Role Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be an advocate for our people and culture. In this role, you'll help us hire top talent for our entry-level to management level roles, foster a positive candidate experience, and collaborate with hiring managers on all phases of recruitment.

Day to day, you will be working closely with our leaders across North America to source, interview and hire for a variety of roles across all GTM functions. You may be required to support other areas of the business function such as marketing, customer, finance, HR, legal, product and tech as and when required. You thrive on exploring new recruitment avenues, connecting with passive talent and you understand the value of a best-in-class candidate experience.

This is a remote position based in Austin, Texas, as we would like you to be able to support in-person hiring events as and when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience:
    • 2+ years in a full cycle recruiting role or related.
    • Preferred: Experience with in-house recruitment in a fast-growth technology organization and experience hiring GTM (sales) roles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the proven ability to navigate challenges in the recruitment process and provide creative solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Time management and organizational skills with attention to detail and the demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
  • ATS Proficiency: Proficient with ATS software and other recruitment systems.
    • Preferred: Ashby.
  • Sourcing Skills: Familiarity with basic sourcing tools including ATS and LinkedIn with the demonstrated ability to source for mid-level roles in the absence of a qualified pipeline.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven experience in routine negotiations with a demonstrated ability in influencing others to find agreement with candidates and internal stakeholders.

What You Can Expect

  • End-to-End Recruitment: Own the end-to-end recruitment process from initial intake to successful candidate placement for entry-level to management level roles, or bulk hiring.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration: Advise hiring managers throughout the search with candidate data and best practices.
  • Intake and Requirements: Lead intake meetings, gathering requirements and understanding business goals. Manage and review any inbound applications.
  • Interview Panel Support: Advise hiring managers with interview panel creation, ensuring we have a diverse and relevant interviewer panel for interview loops.
  • Candidate Sourcing: Collaborate with team members to source candidates for identified jobs, increasing applicant flow via internet job boards, employee referrals, local advertising, and social networks. Leverage sourcing to balance diversity in the candidate pipeline.
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct in-depth candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate qualifications, values alignment, and potential for success within 1Password.
  • Candidate Experience: Foster a positive candidate experience through the recruitment process by ensuring timely feedback, communication, and coordination.
