Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience leading a performance-oriented, operational recruiting team within a global organization, ideally within the healthcare, medical technology or pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities

  • Manage team recruiting activities to consistently successful hiring outcomes, focusing on sourcing effectiveness, recruiter capability, team workbench/capacity management, diversity, req aging, and stakeholder satisfaction
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and HR to identify opportunities to upskill and educate on Talent Acquisition, HR, and business topics to evolve from transactional to trusted advisor status
  • Accountable for effective development and utilization of recruitment marketing and branding materials aligned to business priorities and talent challenges
  • Drive team to present meaningful market insights and external talent acquisition trends to Hiring Managers to influence sourcing strategies
  • Critically analyze Talent Acquisition data to identify trends/opportunities for process improvement and strategy realignment
  • Manage strategic or confidential searches as required
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members
  • Ensure compliant, accurate, and timely data management by the team in recruiting systems and adherence to HR processes
  • Manage risk and compliance issues
  • Define and implement functional/cluster talent pipelining strategy
  • Proactively maintain and enhance team’s knowledge of Baxter, evolving business understanding including development and mentoring of the team
  • Prepare and present team recruitment activity and performance data for business area(s)/function(s)/cluster to educate on volumes, forecasting, and sourcing effectiveness (including agency usage)
  • Foster, drive, and advocate continuous improvement and strategic project delivery
  • Own and develop relationships with senior stakeholders, ensuring awareness of hiring volumes, people challenges, business strategy, and critical data as a trusted Talent Advisor
  • Lead and develop a team of aligned resources, managing, coaching, and mentoring for success
  • Drive effective change management to assist in behavioral change and evolution of Talent Acquisition services
