Requirements

Candidates must have a B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or an equivalent engineering field and at least 3 years of experience in the design, integration, and testing of electromechanical systems. They should possess experience in developing and executing comprehensive test protocols for electromechanical and/or robotic systems, along with skills in data analysis of test results, including probability and statistical analysis techniques. A hands-on approach to testing and debugging electromechanical systems is essential, as well as fundamental knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences are also required.

Responsibilities

The Systems Integration Engineer will work with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and execute bring-up, characterization, and validation plans for various components and subsystems. They will develop test methods that meet requirement intent, including protocol development, fixture design, test method validation, test script development, and analysis of data. The role involves conducting complex root-cause analysis and resolution across various engineering areas, driving integration activities such as bring-up, calibration, and tuning, and supporting the development of tooling for interdisciplinary test activities across the organization.
